What is Controcyst?
Controcyst® is a sterile intravesical solution in a 50 ml pre-filled syringe, based on chondroitin sulfate, purified colostrum, and a thixotropic polymer. This combination works by restoring the bladder's GAG layer and creating a protective, impermeable barrier, thus helping to restore the natural barrier function of the urothelium.
Advancing bladder protection with purified colostrum
Colostrum has the ability to activate the immune system and, through immunoglobulins, including a high concentration of IgA, facilitates tissue repair and works with mucosal prostaglandins to regulate intracavitary bladder acidity, as in other hollow organs of the body. Finally, the immunoglobulins contained in colostrum are useful in neutralizing pathogens and toxins, as well as reducing excessive inflammation by acting on the mast cell degranulation process until it normalizes.

Initial phase (induction):
1 instillation per week for 4–6 weeks.
Maintenance phase:
1 instillation every 2–4 weeks, depending on the clinical response.
Duration:
Variable, with recommended cycles of 3–6 months, with the possibility of repetition depending on the symptoms.
Instillation is performed using the pre-filled 50 ml syringe, ready for immediate use, under medical supervision.
